Our Mission

Mission Voice was founded to help children with communication issues find their voice by helping to improve and implement AAC technology in school and at home.

Mission Voice is a 501 (c)(3) non profit organization.

Our Inspiration...

On May 11, 2004 Lisa and Jay O’Donnell of Moorestown, New Jersey welcomed their third child into this world. Daniel O’Donnell, a healthy baby boy born with Down syndrome has received speech therapy services along with physical and occupational therapy since birth.

A 2023 graduate of Moorestown High School, Daniel now uses an iPad Mini with the LAMP Word for Life application to communicate. As Daniel progressed through school, his parents realized the importance of communication tools and AAC devices in the education environment, and experienced the highs and lows of relying on these tools for their son’s educational journey. The O’Donnell's have recognized the necessity for a nonprofit organization to provide specialized programs and help fund technology costs for other families. Mission Voice is also partnering with community organizations to provide communication boards and support in a variety of recreational settings.
